Terms & Conditions

1. Booking Confirmation

All bookings are considered confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment, as agreed at the time of reservation. A booking confirmation will be sent via email, WhatsApp, or other approved communication channels.

2. Payments
A deposit of 30%–50% of the total package cost is required to secure a booking.
The remaining balance must be paid before the commencement of the trek, tour, or expedition unless otherwise agreed.
Payments can be made through bank transfer, UPI, online payment gateways, or other approved payment methods.

3. Cancellation PolicyCancellations made 30 days or more before the departure date may be eligible for a partial refund after deducting administrative and processing charges.
Cancellations made between 15–29 days before departure will incur a cancellation charge of 50% of the total booking amount.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before departure are non-refundable.
No refunds will be provided for no-shows, unused services, or early departures.

4. Changes by Client

Any request to change travel dates, trekking schedules, accommodation, or itinerary arrangements is subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

5. Changes by the Company

Ladakh Trekking reserves the right to modify, postpone, or alter itineraries due to weather conditions, road closures, government regulations, safety concerns, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances. Every effort will be made to provide suitable alternatives.

6. Travel Insurance

All travelers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellations, accidents, baggage loss, and personal belongings.

7. Liability

Ladakh Trekking shall not be held responsible for any loss, injury, illness, accident, delay, theft, or damage to personal property arising during the tour or trek, except in cases of proven negligence on the part of the company.

8. Health & Fitness

Participants must ensure they are physically and medically fit for trekking and high-altitude travel. Any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements must be disclosed before the commencement of the trip.

9. Accommodation & Services

All accommodations, transportation, and related services are subject to availability. In exceptional circumstances, equivalent alternatives of a similar standard may be provided without prior notice.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking with Ladakh Trekking, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with all applicable rules, regulations, and safety guidelines during the trip.
